Guam - Congratulations to Jonovan Santos who recently won Hawaii's Fastest Human race at the 67th Annual Punahou Relays. Santos is the son of Paul and Anita (Taitague) Santos, formerly of Mangilao and Inarajan. He was a P.C. Lujan Elementary School student until his father was stationed by the military in the U.S. mainland. His family eventually relocated to Hawaii.

Santos was Mililani High School's Male Athlete of the Year in 2005 and lettered in football, basketball, and track and field. He attended and played football for Glendale Community College in Arizona before returning to Hawaii, where he gives back to the community as Mililani High School boy's track and field coach. He is employed by Hawaii Behavioral Health and works with autistic children.

He is the nephew of former Senator Telo Taitague.
