Guam - The Annual Relay for Life will be happening this Friday night. Each year thousands of island residents gather together in unity celebrating the lives of those who have had cancer, remembering those lost and fighting back against the disease.
If you've ever participated in the Relay for Life, then you know just how special and emotional the luminaria ceremony is. You can either purchase the luminaria bag from your Relay for Life team member or contact the Guam Chapter of the American Cancer Society's office at 477-9451. When you do buy your bag, you're asked to personalize it and show who it's dedicated to. It can be dedicated to someone who lost their live to cancer or can honor those who have battled and won.
Relay for Life is this Friday beginning at 7pm at the GW track.
