Guam - The Department of Corrections will be in court tomorrow morning to give a status update on the department's more than two-decade-old stipulated order. DepCor director Jose San Agustin says his agency already got the green light from the Department of Justice on the prison's chronic care policy, and working towards finalizing other medical protocols for inmates and detainees.

"We are continuing to work with DOJ to correct the nursing protocols and they are reviewing that and the DOJ requested for 16 medical charts, otherwise called medical record jackets, of certain inmates for review so they make sure we are complying with our policy," he said. San Agustin adds he will give the court an update on the bids for generators as well as ongoing plans to install electronic locks.

The hearing is Tuesday at 9am.
