Guam - Governor Eddie Calvo heading to Japan as part of his administration's series of trade missions to invite Asian investors to Guam to create more jobs.  Governor Calvo will also meet with several government leaders including the governor of Okinawa, Hirokazu Nakaima.

"Both of our communities know what its like to have the military as pillars of the economy and so we hope to build on the relationship and foundation and let the Okinawan businessmen know that there are these similarities to consider," said communications director for Adelup Troy Torres. Calvo's chief policy advisor Arthur Clark and several members from the Guam Economic Development Authority joined the governor on his trip.

He is anticipated to return Friday.
