Guam - The Asan-Maina-Rai Basketball Club held a 3-on-3-basketball tournament at the Asan Mayors Office. The tournament was held to keep the kids active and build camaraderie amongst the different divisions and welcome in the new players joining the team.

Brant McCreadie said, "I think this is a wonderful event out here in Asan Maina and there is a lot of kids out here. I think there is over a hundred kids and about 20 teams. Ben Babauta did a fantastic job. Like I told him, I will continue to support no matter what when it comes to kids and developing the kids through health and wellness and physical fitness. So I am very happy and very excited, I sponsored 2 teams on the under 14 division so I will be watching my two teams today and see how they do."

Ben Babauta added, "Over the last few years these kids have been having issues raising money for their uniforms and for their entrance fees having problems getting into leagues because they can't pay for their fees. So this year I felt it was necessary to try and jump in a head of time and get these guys set up so I organized the 3-on-3-basketball tournament to benefit the kids to pay for their entrance fees and uniforms. So I would first like to thank all the parents for bringing out there kids today."
