Guam - Sinajana vice mayor Robert Hofmann will be reviewing this surveillance video an Agana Heights resident shot of several male individuals breaking into vehicles and taking items. Hofmann says it's almost everyday and sometimes twice a day that there is a break-in reported in his village.
He believes the crimes are related after learning the suspects use a battery charger to short the alarm system in the vehicles. He said, "What really alarms us as public officials and what the residents are alarmed about is some of these crimes are taking place during the day while people are at home or sleeping, so should you encounter someone ransacking your house, do your best to keep your family safe be vigilant and we ask people to lock your things."
Hofmann hopes he can identify the group based on their clothing. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Guam Police or Crimestoppers at 477-HELP (4357).
