Guam - The Guam Education Board will discuss superintendent-select Jon Fernandez's contract during a special board meeting on Wednesday morning. Some board members have raised concerns about a draft contract that proposes to give Fernandez $15,000 in relocation expenses, another $2,000 a month for living expenses, $650 a month for a car and gas, $300 a month for technology services, retirement benefits and an annual 2% raise - all in addition to a $125,000 a year salary.

Fernandez has not commented on the concerns raised by the board members.  The special meeting will be held at 8:30 at the Department of Administration Conference Room in Hagatna.
