Guam – Four high school students were injured following a morning bus crash in Yigo today. Guam Fire Department spokesperson Lt. Ed Artero says the crash happened along route 1 and Wusstig road. The students were inside a special education bus on their way to Simon Sanchez high school when the crash occurred. The Guam police department and Guam Department of Education deputy superintendent Rob Malay also responded to the scene. Malay confirms the school bus was making a left turn from route 1 onto Wusstig road when a Nissan Sentra exiting Wusstig road failed to yield colliding head on with the bus. Malay says all occupants including the bus driver are ok and another bus was dispatched to drop the students to school. GFD treated the students for minor injuries, and Malay says all parents were notified. No arrests have been made at this time.
