Guam - Southern Precinct Commander Lieutenant Manny Chong says he forwarded issues raised in KUAM's report last week to the Criminal Investigation Section and Internal Affairs. Agat resident Janessa Corpuz argued she was arrested based on an officer's personal vendetta against her.
She also alleged the officer would attempt to have sex with her in the police unit. Corpuz was picked up at her home a couple weeks ago on charges of aiding prostitution.
Lt. Chong says Corpuz has made a serious allegation that must be investigated at a level higher than command. He adds the officer remains on the job during the investigation.
