Guam - Guam Schools United will be holding a rally on Tuesday for all educators. Committee member Steve Protasio tells KUAM News the group wants to provide a forum for stakeholders to better understand and voice their concerns with the 4-AB program that will be implemented in all public high schools next school year.
Protasio says the group has serious concerns with the program that they say would have a negative affect on students giving them less instructional time in core subjects. The Guam Education Board voted to implement the program and Protasio says teachers were never asked for their input and only learned about it after the board approved it.
The Guam Schools United rally will begin at 4pm on Tuesday at Skinner Plaza in Hagatna.
