Tiyan casino awaits inspection

Guam - The Liberation Day grounds in Tiyan are slowly coming together, but the casino cannot open for business until the Department of Public Works and the Guam Fire Department sign off on building permits. DPW deputy director Carl Dominguez hoped to do an inspection this week but says contractors were unable to provide drawings of the structure.
Dominguez hopes DPW can conduct the inspection next week. Carnival festivities are set to start June 1.
