Guam - Legislation introduced by Senator Judi Guthertz will be heard Wednesday morning relative to repealing antiquated, unfunded and underutilized statutes or administrative rules of the Government of Guam. She says Bill 445 would set the basic foundation for modernizing and rightsizing the government.

"So that we can remove those laws no longer needed, no longer relative that costs of money and revise those laws that are needed but need to be updated," she explained.

She says if they review all the legal mandates, which hasn't been done since the Organic Act passed, it will be clear what we don't need to spend money on and the best starting point relative to Governor Eddie Calvo's $43 million in cuts directive.
