Guam - The Guam Bar Association has completed its survey of who its members believe should be the next judge for the Superior Court of Guam. Five names were submitted to the governor today.
Court Referee Linda Ingles received the highest number of votes from those Bar members who completed the survey. She was followed by governor's legal counsel Maria Cenzon, Superior Court Magistrate Judge Alberto Tolentino, Attorney Elyze Iriarte, and former public guardian and AG John Weisenberger. The governor says he hasn't yet met a decision on who he will select to fill the vacancy left by Judge Elizabeth Barrett Andersen, who retired last month.
"Our administration's reviewing the prospects and I do intend to nominate the best person for the job," said the governor.
