Guam - The Department of Parks and Recreations is looking to partner with a neighboring hotel to upkeep the Matapang Beach parking lot and restrooms. According to DPR director Pete Calvo, the restrooms are periodically closed due to low water pressure related to the sinking parking lot and dips in piping. Calvo says he's working with Holiday Resort.
"We've given them a memorandum of agreement that we hope they can review and then get back to us on what their hopes are to assist us with the restoration of Matapang as well as improvement," said Calvo.
A memorandum of agreement should be finalized by June between all parties and the Department of Land Management.
