Judge Benson given Hustisia Award

Guam - After serving Guam and the Pacific for more than four decades, Judge Pro-Tem Richard Benson was awarded the Hustisia Award today.  Benson's significant contributions to the improvement of the administration of justice were recognized as Law Week activities wrapped-up. 

Benson became a judge in 1970 and also served as a justice in the Guam and Federated States of Micronesia Supreme Courts.  Although he's been retired, Benson continues to dedicate his time to the justice system and has played a significant role in mediations.
