Guam - If you missed it this week, James Cameron's historic documentary will air on National Channel Geographic tomorrow. The documentary has prompted a resolution by Senators Aline Yamashita and Rory Respicio. Resolution 405 recognizes the right of Guam to take part of the economic gains by the recent and future explorations of the Challenger Deep in the Marianas Trench.
Yamashita believes Cameron's trip will bring a lot of economic benefits to the region, saying, "Sometimes they mention Guam and many time they don't so I just think, when you think of the golden gate bridge you think of San Francisco, when you think of shark sanctuary you think of Palau, and so when you think of challenger deep you should think of Micronesia, it puts us on the map."
In the meantime, Cameron's documentary, "Voyage to the Bottom of the Earth", will air tomorrow on the National Geographic Channel for MCV customers first at 6-7pm then again at 9-10pm. GTA customers can catch it at 6 and 6:30pm then again at 9 and 9:30pm.
