500 new school A/Cs to be installed

Guam - Department of Education classrooms will be cooling down in the coming months. According to facilities and maintenance manager Billy Cruz, J&B Contractors is well underway with installing 500 air conditioning units at schools islandwide. Maintenance for the new units has yet to be determined because the Office of Public Accountability recently made the decision not to award a contract for preventative maintenance and minor repairs.

An IFB is set to be out next week.
