Guam - A civilian police reservist was arrested after he was caught lying about his past criminal history on his Concealed Firearms Application back in February. Maurice Montgomery was arrested for unsworn falsification and he was stripped of his police credentials, badge and firearm. Guam Police Department spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says Montgomery denied ever being convicted of a misdemeanor.

A National Crimes Investigations check was made and showed that he had a prior misdemeanor conviction back in California in 1986. Montgomery was assigned to the Dededo Precinct and has been a police reservist for nearly a decade.
