Port's crane acquisition ahead of schedule
While making progress on its modernization efforts have been a struggle, the Port is forging ahead with acquiring three additional cranes.
Guam - While making progress on its modernization efforts have been a struggle, the Port is forging ahead with acquiring three additional cranes. The agency has been in negotiations with Matson and Horizon pursuant to a public law that requires that negotiations be completed by December.
A maintenance agreement and sales contract will be presented to the board and officials are confident the acquisition will be closed out by the third quarter.
