DPW staffer admits to fraudulent OT

Guam Solid Waste Engineer supervisor Danilo Galiza pleaded guilty to fraud today admitting he was paid overtime for work he never performed on federal projects.

Guam - Guam Solid Waste Engineer supervisor Danilo Galiza pleaded guilty to fraud today admitting he was paid overtime for work he never performed on federal projects. Galiza recently entered into a plea agreement and agreed to pay back $18,000 in restitution. 

Galiza was charged along with former DPW chief engineer Liberty Perez, chief planner Josephine Torres, and engineer supervisor Ariel Evarola.  While the trial was scheduled to begin next week, the court will hear a motion to continue the trial on Thursday.
