Guam - Candidates who are running for senator in the upcoming election have been invited to participate in a forum hosted last night by students in the Guam Community College's Supervision and Management Program. Last night's forum was candidates running under the Democratic Party.

One student asked the candidates, "Based on the stance of the Democratic Party, are you guys in support of the military buildup and what immediate benefits can we see in the future?", to which Senator Judi Guthertz replied, "The Legislature as a body has never said we do not support the military buildup; the Legislature as a body the military buildup must be good for the people of Guam."

Participating in the forum last night Senators Guthertz, Tina Muna Barnes, Adolpho Palacios and Speaker Judi Won Pat. Tonight's forum which began at 6pm and features Republican senatorial candidates. The forum wraps up at 7:30pm and is being held in the GCC Multipurpose Auditorium in Mangilao.
