Guam - The Public Utilities Commission will be meeting next Monday to discuss whether they will approve the Guam Power Authority's proposed base rate increase. The PUC was holding a series of hearings on public input regarding GPA's proposed total increase of 7.5% spread out over the next five years on your monthly power bill.

PUC legal counsel Fred Horecky tells KUAM News that issues regarding GPA revenues, rate allocation and classes of customers who will be affected will be discussed.
