Guam - Senator Tina Muna Barnes wants to know if the Patient Protection Through Information Act has been implemented. The law requires the Guam Board of Medical Examiners to provide information within 4 days regarding any enforcement actions taken against a licensed physician.  The law also requires that any information released be in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act guidelines.

The Democrat says Guam public law is meant to safeguard the community's decision making ability and access to information and the board must be held accountable.
