Guam - Federal charges have been handed down against the man who allegedly started the massive fire at the National Office Supply in Barrigada in May 2010. Jonathan Walter Cruz was picked up and arrested on Thursday following an indictment that charges him with malicious use of fire.

Court documents accuse him of damaging and destroying the National Office Supply building and inventory. The fire resulted in a firefighter being sent to the hospital for heat exhaustion.  Walter pleaded not guilty and the trial is set for July 2.

He remains in the custody of U.S. Marshals.
