Guam - Hoping that the community will realize that the rule of law is the foundation of this country and the courts serve as its protector, a proclamation was signed today declaring Tuesday Law Day and next week as Law Week. This year's theme, "No Courts, No Justice, No Freedom", underscores the importance of the courts and their role in ensuring access to justice for everyone.

Events include a sunset 5K race on Saturday, the State of the Judiciary Address on Tuesday, open house tours, mock trials and a law fair next Saturday.
