The couple along, with a dozen other residents living on a lot off Swamp Road, has have been served with eviction notices and trespass suits.
The couple has been staying there since Daizi's cousin was given the land to farm back in the 80's. Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Barrett Anderson gave the parties until June 13 to make the determination if a lot was assigned to the couple. Mafnas has said they are simply following a law that requires that 70 acres be given as part of a land exchange while the other portion is to be used for a cultural center.
