Guam - The Guam Racing Federation is pleading with the public to leave the Guam International Raceway Park alone. Friday is the deadline to provide your comments on the Department of Defense's Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the Marines' live fire training range.

The DOD is eyeing several different possible locations, including land along the Back Road to Andersen Air Force Base, where the race track is located as well as the Pagat area. The DOD is also eyeing the Naval Magazine area as a possible option. The GFR, which was founded in 1998 to promote safe motorsports on Guam, built the Guam International Raceway Park in 2002.

They're hoping that when you do submit your comments on the SEIS that you send a message "Do not take our racetrack".
