PUC hearing Tuesday on proposed rate hike

The Public Utilities Commission tomorrow night launches the first in a series of hearings to gather your input on the Guam Power Authority's proposed base rate increase.

Guam - The Public Utilities Commission tomorrow night launches the first in a series of hearings to gather your input on the Guam Power Authority's proposed base rate increase. GPA is looking at a total 7.5 percent increase spread out over the next five years.

Tonight's hearing will be held at the GCIC Building Hagatna at 6pm. The PUC is scheduled to make a final decision in April, with the approved rate to take effect in May.
