Guam - Committee chair on tourism Senator Tina Muna Barnes recently returned along a delegation from Guam and the CNMI from a 10-day trip to Russia. The group included members of the Guam Visitor's Bureau, Edge Realty, United Airlines and several tour agencies. The delegation attended the Moscow International Travel and Tourism exhibition and hosted Guam destination workshops in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. The group also met with several US representatives in Russia.
Since the inclusion of Russia in the visa waiver program, GVB reports a spike in Russian tourist numbers with visitors staying an average of two weeks on Guam.
