Guam - Public safety committee chairperson Senator Adolpho Palacios is asking Governor Eddie Calvo to fill the vacancies within the Guam Parole board. He says the appointment will resolve the board's difficulty of having its quorum requirement of four members during parole hearings. Palacios states a vacancy was first made last October after Kenneth Boardman resigned. He further wants confirmation on the resignation of Dot Chargualaf. DepCor reported Chargualaf resigned a couple weeks ago to pursue other opportunities.
Palacios requests the appointments be made soon and transmitted to the Legislature for consideration.
