Guam - Over 30 families living in the Gill-Breeze Subdivision in Yigo have been living without running water for over a decade. Tonight, the Yigo's Mayor Office will hold another public meeting for all residents in the area regarding the water situation.

Yigo mayor Robert Lizama says there is work to provide closer water services to the Gill-Breeze Subdivision as opposed to their current situation of obtaining water from the Yigo Baseball Field. Although he had offered to place the water meter under his name, he hopes to hear word back on whether any of the families would agree to sign up for the water services themselves inclusive of all conditions that need to be met.

The mayor's office has since started work on placing a concrete slab where the meter may potentially be placed and expects it to take affect in early April.

The meeting takes place tonight at 6pm at the Yigo Senior Center.
