Guam - The draft plan for the Tiyan parkway is now waiting final approval. GIAA executive manager Chuck Ada says the airport, the Department of Public Works, Land Management and the Calvo Administration finalized a memorandum of understanding to move forward with Phase I and II of the project.

Ada says he spent the morning in a teleconference with FAA officials updating them on the plan, adding, "We hope to get the draft out by the end of this week to pass it out to both the FAA and the Federal Highway Administration for their review and concurrence so we can sign off all parties and move forward."

Part of the plan is to demolish the former GPD headquarters in order to construct a temporary access road.  He says so far there are two companies that responded to the RFP for the police department's Records and ID Office space. The General Services Agency is currently working on those proposals.
