Guam - The Guam and Chamorro Educational Facility, otherwise known as the Guam Museum, is moving forward, as the Guam Economic Development Authority not only has selected the Architectural Firm of Laguana and Cristobal as the project's architectural and engineering team, but also approved the over $2 million design fee contract for the project.

Larry Toves with GEDA told KUAM News, "We made every effort to work with to negotiate with the number one-anked firm to bring it down as close as possible to $2 million as possible and at this point in time we have agreed on a revised fee proposal $2.19 million, and so that is the final fee proposal presented by ALC."

The design fee proposal is inclusive of GRT. The project meanwhile is expected to be complete by 2014 with a proposed site at Skinner Plaza in Hagatna.
