Guam - Two defendants who are being held behind bars on $100,000 cash bail for beating an 18-year-old man who is on life support are currently waiting to be tried in two separate criminal cases. Michael Gregory Rosal Jr.  faces a misdemeanor charge of assault - according to court documents last December, Rosal became angry when another driver flicked him off.

While stopped at an intersection, Rosal allegedly got out of his car and began punching the other driver while another man came and hit the victim with a pipe. Rosal got back in his car with the other man and drove away. He later turned himself into police but said the driver of the other car got out and hit him first. His statements were contrary to witnesses statements made to police. Rosal also claimed he did not know the other man who hit the victim with a pipe.

William San Nicolas Jr. meanwhile is charged with theft of property, conspiracy to commit theft of property, burglary, and conspiracy. According to court documents, San Nicolas and two others allegedly broke into several homes and stole various items as well as a business where they stole rolls of wire.

The two men remain behind bars on $100,000 cash bail along with Michael Rosal Jr. The three are charged with aggravated assault as a 2nd degree felony for allegedly assaulting Cameron Masnayon, 18, with a baseball bat and the end of a wooden rack leaving him unconscious in the parking lot of Von's Chicken in Harmon early Sunday morning.

Masnayon remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit at the Guam Memorial Hospital.
