Guam - TakeCare's 30,000 members will still be insured when they obtain services at the Guam Memorial Hospital next week. Last night the GMH Board of Trustees voted to reinstate a direct payer agreement with the insurance company. The agreement was to be terminated next Tuesday, leaving TakeCare's members as self-pay patients after weeks of negotiating.

According to a press release issued late this afternoon, both parties agreed to work together towards a shared standards- based process for coordinating patient care and reviewing hospital claims and to adjudicate and rectify differences in the financial records.
