Five applicants meet superintendent deadline

Guam - Today was the deadline if you were looking to apply to be the head of the Government of Guam'slargest agency. According to Guam Education Board member and Department of Education superintendent search committee chairman Dr. Paul Pineda, five hopefuls submitted applications today.

The position pays $125,000 a year and applicants must have a master's degree in education, business, public administration, or related field, five years experience in the filed of educational leadership or management and must be of good moral character without felony convictions.

The GEB is set to meet Monday to discuss scheduling for interviews.
