Guam - Service to the community has resulted in the Guam Community College landing a spot on the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for the third year in a row. GCC president Mary Okada says she and the faculty are amazed at the students' commitment to service learning projects.

The projects included the Eco-Warriors, who collected nearly 300 pounds of aluminum and plastics and raising funds for victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami.
