Guam - Regional leaders will break from the Micronesian Chief Executives Summit and come together for the first meeting of the Pacific island leaders addressing Compact impact forum, which will be led by Department of Interior Assistant Secretary for Insular Areas Tony Babauta. The closed-door meeting will allow regional leaders to discuss ways to mitigate the impacts of migration.

Guam in particular has been seeking additional compact impact funding to address the tens of millions of dollars spent each year to provide services and care for citizens of the Freely Associated States.
