Guam - Hoping to improve and expand the services available for children and teens with emotional disturbances, the Para Todu Strategic Planning Grant kicked-off a two-day workshop today. The expansion grant aims to gather input from stakeholders on the systems of care for child and adolescent mental health services.
Communications specialist Vince Leon Guerrero told KUAM News, "It means expanding services that are already offered at I'Famaguonta, at Project Karinu, and it's not just the services, the services are there for a reason, it's expanding the services that impact the children the south, the families, and that's what this is all about."
The workshop wraps up on Thursday at the Holiday Resort and Spa in Tumon.
