Guam - The illegally run school in Tamuning continues to work at obtaining proper permitting from the island's various regulatory agencies. According to Providence International Christian Academy co-owner Paula Schmidt, the Guam Land Use Commission has scheduled the school's public hearing for April 17 at the Tamuning Mayor's Office.

Residents are asked to voice their concerns, which may help determine whether the school can receive a conditional-use permit. PICA is currently operating with a minimal assembly permit from the Guam Fire Department.
