DOI approves $4M grant funding for GMH

The U.S. Department of the Interior approved the use of $4 million through Fiscal Year 2012 Compact impact funds to go toward the purchase of medical equipment, supplies, pharmaceuticals and vendor payments for the hospital.

Guam - The Guam Memorial Hospital has been approved for a major infusion of much-needed cash. The U.S. Department of the Interior approved the use of $4 million through Fiscal Year 2012 Compact impact funds to go toward the purchase of medical equipment, supplies, pharmaceuticals and vendor payments for the hospital.

Interim GMH administrator Rey Vega is grateful for the funding saying the money will really assist the cash crippled hospital.
