Guam - With mounting procurement problems and the possibility the Department of Education could lose $55 million in stimulus funding, Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz is urging Acting Governor Ray Tenorio to convene the Procurement Advisory Council. The PAC was created by public law signed last October.

The statute required that the PAC convene within 15 days after the law was enacted which would have been by October 15. Cruz has written Tenorio requesting follow through on the public law.
