Guam - A 27 year old man faces charges of burglary after he allegedly stole jewelry from a tenant at the Puntan Isa Apartments in Mangilao to support his gambling habit. According to court documents, the victim reported she returned to the apartment and found her bedroom in disarray. The victim then noticed her watches and a gold diamond ring were missing. The victims immediately suspected James Eric Pillsbury allegedly took the items because of his past incidents involving theft, court documents state. Documents add, Pillsbury was located at the Hagatna detention facility where he was being held on a probation violation. He told authorities he allegedly stole the jewelry and sold it to support his gambling habit. He faces charges of burglary, structure trespass and theft of property.
