Guam - Merizo mayor Ernest Chargualaf seeks the public's help in finding those responsible for stealing the electric copper wiring in his village park. He says the thieves made off with more than 100 feet of copper wire, and reported the theft to police.

He said, "It's a little setback, but I'm trying to get comparable wiring so that I can proceed with the crab festival coming up this month, so it's a setback but I'm hoping anyone with information can apprehend these individuals."

Anyone with information is asked to call the Merizo Mayor's Office or Guam Crime Stoppers at 477-HELP.
