Guam - They're back. After being placed on administrative leave with pay for 20 days, Police Captains Mark Charfauros and Paul Suba have returned to work, but in different positions. Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia confirms both captains were transferred.

Charfauros, who was the head of the department's Administration Division, is now assigned to the Office of the Police Commander. Suba, who was the division chief for the Highway Patrol Division, is now assigned to the Support Division. That division's chief, Mar Rivo was moved to the Administration Division.

The chief has said the transfers are not retaliatory and more transfers are expected. GPD meanwhile continues investigations into various allegations that have been raised about the two as well as criminal charges Charfauros faces in court for allegedly soliciting an officer to assault an individual.
