WWII ordnance found in Dededo
Guam Homeland Security was contacted this morning after contractors at the construction site of the new hospital in Dededo found what appeared to be possible live ordnance.

Guam - Guam Homeland Security was contacted this morning after contractors at the construction site of the new hospital in Dededo found what appeared to be possible live ordnance. The item was located along access road to the new hospital.
Guam Police Department and the military EOD team responded to the site. Guam Homeland Security Spokesperson Alyssa Benito confirms the round was a foot long mortar that posed no threat to the surrounding area. She says it was safely removed and the all clear was given around 12:15 today.
