FBI holds cyberfraud seminar

A team of cyber agents based out of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Hawaii office led a seminar today on cyberfraud.

Guam - A team of cyber agents based out of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Hawaii office led a seminar today on cyberfraud. The special agents lead the national effort in investigating high-tech crimes, including cyber based threats, and are experts with diverse and highly-skilled information technology background.

Rick Markle is the director of information technology for Navy Guam, and said, "Cyberfraud is extremely prevalent even on Guam. We really have to be on guard against it - I encourage everyone to learn as much about it as they can and to take steps - businesses, federal government, or any of the types of Governments on Guam."

Today's seminar was hosted by the Guam Chamber of Commerce.
