Guam - There may not have been Life Safety Code violations noted during their latest visit, but the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid noted various deficiencies at the Barrigada Skilled Nursing Facility. Interim hospital administrator Rey Vega says the CMS team revealed during an exit survey that deficiencies were found during their survey of the SNU.

The deficiencies that may result in citations include issues with infection control, quality of life, condition of care and documentation. Vega says the CMS is expected to outline each of the specific concerns in a report that will be issued at a later time.
