Guam - A lawsuit that stems from the blockbuster flop "Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon" is scheduled to go to trial next week. Today a pre-trial conference was held.

The Guam Economic Development Authority filed suit against the movie's producer, John Laing and the Guam Motion Picture Company after they failed to pay back an $800,000 t loan guaranty to the agency.  The court denied GEDA's motion for summary judgment and the trial is scheduled to begin on Monday before Superior Court Judge Michael Bordallo.
