Guam - The Committee on Utilities, Transportation, Public Works and Veterans Affairs will once again meet tonight for its series of information briefings this time with the Department of Public Works. Committee chair Senator Tom Ada says DPW will give a general update on the various projects that are ongoing throughout the island.
"But probably most importantly is the status of the construction of the Hagatna Bridge I believe that one's going to be another major project similar to the tri-intersection and the construction of the Route 7, which basically will provide the relieve of the Hagatna Bridge," he said.
Meanwhile a pair of info briefings set for this month have been rescheduled as the Guam Regional Transit Authority briefing set for February 7 was moved to March 6, whereas the port's follow-up briefing originally set for February 9 has moved to March 5. The veteran affairs info briefing remains as scheduled for Wednesday, February 8. All briefings are set for 6:30 in the evening at the Public Hearing Room.
